Timo Tolkki’s Avalon Featuring Timo Tolkki, the operatic metal project created by former Stratovarius mastermind Timo Tolkki, have announced a June 18 release date (via Frontiers Music Srl) for their fourth album, The Enigma Birth.

As has often been the case for Timo Tolkki’s Avalon Featuring Timo Tolkki, The Enigma Birth will include a plethora of all-star guest vocalists, including James the Cheese (Dream Theater), Brittney Slayes (Unleash the Archers), Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Angra, Eternal Idol), Jake E (Ex-Amaranthe, Cyrha), Marina La Torraca (Exit Eden), Pellek from the YouTubes… … and Icon of Sin singer Raphael Mendes, who you may remember as “That dude who does an incredible impersonation of Bruce Dickinson.” He provides vocals for the first single, “Master of Hell,” and you may or may not be happy to learn that he sounds more Dickinsian than ever.

He’s a huge fan of the old Dickinson Van Dyke show.

Dickinson Tracy is his favorite comic book.

Whenever he’s in the UK, he treats himself to some Spotted Dickinson. He has Big Dickinson Energy.

You get the idea.
