Since 2012, Hammerhedd has taken the internet by storm as that one band from Kansas City whose members have been playing together since they were 4, 7, and 9 years old. Having shown their tech-metal chops are legit and spending time on the road with In Flames, the brothers Ismert are back with a new song from their currently unannounced second album.
This eight-minute track starts off slow, but gradually builds. It’s a song that moves and morphs around its groove. It stands on its own compared to their previous single, “Tunnel.”
These Kansas City boys are honestly living the dream, having chosen to follow their path in music together as a fraternal unit. They’re easily some of the most talented kids in metal their age and I’d expect them to only get better with even more time under their belt.
