While tearing it up in Las Vegas this past Friday, Cattle Decapitation vocalist Travis Ryan let it slip that the deathgrind stalwarts were planning to release a new album sometime in May 2023. And while that’s typically all we need for a news post, that’s not all that happened. During the band’s set, they also played a brand new song titled “We Eat Our Young” off that previously unannounced album.

Still, thanks to their unrelenting sound and persistent steel toed boot to the larynx of anyone listening in the front row. Luckily, you can simply watch the video below to get a feel for new Cattle Decapitation in 2023.

Cattle Decapitation are currently on the road with Obituary, Amon Amarth, and Carcass, bringing their brand of death metal to a while mess of venues and locations, which you can check out below.
